The British Museum And Sketchfab Team Up For Touring Exhibition

On September 21, the British Museum will launch Troy: beauty and heroism, part of its Spotlight Loan series that follows up on 2019’s Troy: myth and reality. There is also another work of Art in the picture: Blue skies over Paris.
Must have been my lucky day.

Fondation Maeght: Art Heaven in the Hills

Before my holiday in the South of France, last September, I hadn’t heard of Fondation Maeght. From the moment I arrived I had a feeling of excitement and anticipation. I spent the whole visit walking around with a big smile on my face. I was truly in my happy place! Why did I feel like this? What was it about the museum that had such an impact on me? I think that it was a combination of three key factors: architecture, art and atmosphere.

The Sugar Palace of Rijeka, “the River City”

Many times in my writing, I said that going to a local city museum gives you a lot of answers. In fact, it gives you answers to questions you likely had unconsciously. Today we are talking about the Croatian city of Rijeka and its Sugar Palace. Surprisingly, it is about industrial heritage. Additionally, it is a city museum.
