Pointe dance. Daniel Waldner

The Rehmann Museum dedicates the fall exhibition to the installative work of sculptor Daniel Waldner. Waldner's works start from found objects and materials, and after their transformation - the artistic creative process - are, as it were, poetic statements on our social environment. The ambiguous and surreal effect is usually accompanied by a biting, albeit humorous undertone. Thus, Waldner's installations can always be read as political and economic statements as well. Not infrequently, his works cause an irritation of the social status quo. In his exhibition "Pointe dance", Daniel Waldner not only shows existing works, but also develops site-specific interventions, which can be seen uniquely in the rooms of the Rehmann Museum.

03. September 2022 - 19. February 2023
