Neben den klassischen naturwissenschaftlichen Disziplinen und Technikthemen, denen jeweils große Abteilungen gewidmet sind, gibt es auf der Museumsinsel auch Ausstellungseinheiten ganz anderer Art: Das Bergwerk entführt in die Welt unter Tage, die Meeresforschung in die Welt unter Wasser. Blitze zucken in der Hochspannungsanlage. Im Planetarium reisen Sie in ferne Galaxien. Das Zentrum Neue Technologien nimmt Sie mit in Nanowelten und gibt Ihnen die Gelegenhet, Ihre eigene DNA zu analysieren oder Forschen bei ihren Projekten über die Schulter zu schauen.
