With "War and Peace", the only surviving mural by Otto Dix, which with its dimensions of 5 by 12 metres is one of the most monumental works created by the artist, Singen am Hohentwiel is a special destination among the Otto Dix towns in Baden-Württemberg.
In 2021, the mural will again be open to visitors on weekends from 19 June to 12 September, i.e. during the nationwide summer holidays. Under current Corona pandemic containment regulations, visitors can view the mural on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.*. The ticket also entitles the holder to free admission to the Kunstmuseum Singen and vice versa.
* The mural is closed on Sunday, 11 July 2021.
