Join us on a journey to Ancient Egypt and the Greece and Rome of Antiquity, among mummies, gods and heroes. Or submit to the enchantment of French Impressionists, Danish Golden Age Painters and some of the greatest sculptors.

At Glyptoteket you will encounter a unique combination of world-class art and architecture, together with fascinating history.
Temporary special exhibitions and events offer new angles on art and links past and present.

The museum was founded by the brewing magnate Carl Jacobsen, and his vision of creating a building with living art for living people is in the very best of health.
