Ein Haus für die Archäologie: Öffentliche Führung am 10. November durchs Zentrale Fundarchiv des Archäologischen Landesmuseums
Die seltene Gelegenheit zu einer Führung durchs Zentrale Fundarchiv des Archäologischen Landesmuseums in der Lützowerstraße 10 bietet sich am Donnerstag, 10. November, um 18 Uhr. Seit 1999 befindet sich das zentrale Fundarchiv im ehemaligen Festungslazarett der Bundesfestung Rastatt. Hier werden alle Ausgrabungsfunde aus ganz Baden-Württemberg mit Hilfe einer modernen Datenbank zentral eingelagert und dokumentiert sowie für Ausstellungen in Museen oder für wissenschaftliche Forschungsprojekte zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Archiv kann nur im Rahmen von Sonderführungen besichtigt werden. Somit bietet sich am 10. November die Möglichkeit, das imposante Festungsgebäude kennen zu lernen, aber auch die Arbeitsweise eines modernen archäologischen Landesarchivs.
Diese Veranstaltung ist eine Kooperationsveranstaltung des Stadtmuseums Rastatt und des Zentralen Fundarchivs, begleitend zur neuen Dauerausstellung der Ur- und Frühgeschichte im Stadtmuseum Rastatt.
